My little corner of a room
1st November will see me move into a studio space in downtown Wellington. I can finally unpack a few boxes; studio treasures that have been in storage since May 2016. I'm sharing Studio 14 at Toi Poneke with two other artists. The waiting list still has my name for my own space but grateful to move from a lock-up shed to a downtown studio space.

Back home
After 6 years (it was only meant to be 2) living as an expat in Singapore, I'm back and have settled in Wellington. I love this city and intend to make the most of the cultural energy that it exudes. There are several projects happening, the latest being the 2017 100 Days Project. This will be my 5th year of taking part. My project, I'm hoping it's simple is 100 minutes in 100 days. Just a minute is about staying very still for one minute with my iPhone 5 and capturing movement, whether it's repeated or just rhythmical in nature, Water and wind will obviously play major roles.

New Profile image
These paintings were the last done in New Zealand before heading to Singapore. Here I have a new array of visual delights to stimulate me as an image maker.

Weave
The patience of waiting for paint to dry....today I completed my final layer of colour. Looking good.
If I can't weave harakeke (NZ flax) in Singapore, at least I can paint it. Another outwardly friendly painting.
